R Borinstein Company was founded in 2005 to assist clients with the difficult and consuming task of budgeting, planning, and managing construction projects.  While bringing flexible and dedicated personal attention to each project, R Borinstein has forged a dynamic association with an interactive group of independent construction professionals.  This group frequently collaborates to expand the resources and range of expertise we can offer our clients.  These collaborative teams can and do operate jointly as a single entity providing our clients seemless principal level expertise while focusing that effort to provide a maximized and efficient level of service.  Principal members of this team of professionals include but are not limited to the following:

• Robert Borinstein – Principal, R Borinstein Company
  Prior to founding R Borinstein Company, Robert Borinstein accumulated 23 years of experience in commercial and institutional construction as a project manager and estimator for  highly respected commercial contractors on a wide range of projects types.  During his  last 14 years of employment, Robert Borinstein performed pre-construction and project management services for one of San Francisco’s premier commercial builders.  Robert Borinstein is a LEED Accredited Professional  

• Steven Hixson - Hixson & Associates ( www.hixsonandassociates.com )
  Development and Construction Management. Steve Hixson founded Hixson & Associates in 1991 after practicing commercial architecture and project management for architecture and property development firms in San Francisco. Hixson and Associates provides consultation in real estate development and transactions throughout the bay area and locations across the Western United States.

• Paul Waszink – P.H. Waszink Construction Consultant ( www.waszink.com )
  Estimating and Independent Cost Opinions. With more than 30 years in construction estimating, contracting, and project management, Paul Waszink specializes in project budgeting, cost analysis, quantity survey, scope verification, and other related high level estimating services.

• Marty Zwick – Zwick Architects ( www.zarch.com )
  Architecture, Planning, and Entitlement Services. Located in Sausalito with branch offices in San Diego and Victoria, Canada, Marty Zwick provides a reliable “in-house” capability for conceptual design, planning, and entitlement services at the earliest stages of development. Zwick Architects is also available for full architectural services when appropriate.
